Breed History[]

The Timber Wolf, also known as the Gray Wolf, is native to North America and is currently registered as an endangered species by the National Wildlife Federation.

Timber wolves live in packs that involve a mother and father, older offspring, and pups. Despite popular belief, there is no earning or dominating to be the alpha of a wolf pack. This idea came from researching captive wolves that were not family, like wild wolf packs are. Their diet consists of ungulates, or hoofed animals such as deer, elk, and moose.

Breed In Wasabi[]

The Timber Wolf was added to the Wasabi Dog Sim gameplay officially on May 30th, 2021 during alpha testing. The breed has 8 standard breed colors in the game with currently 5 color-modifying sushi colors. Within the game, the breed is considered a Wild breed group and can thus enter competitions listed as Wild-group only.

This breed is only available through Breed Permits applied to your account when subscribing for Premium subscription for the game. If you allow your subscription to lapse, the permit will be removed from your account and you will no longer be able to adopt Timber Wolves from the pet shop, purchase them from other players, or breed them.
